It may be that we swam through theArco degli Innamorati, but the Pontine Islands stole our hearts!
And we are sure you will too if you take part in our dinghy excursion from Terracina: in the company of a skipper, you will sail between Ponza and Palmarola to discover the main attractions.
A day at sea, punctuated by dives in the most spectacular natural settings!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 9. 00 am at the meeting point in Terracina (LT). The skipper will be there to greet us and welcome us aboard his dinghy.
After boarding, we’ll set sail for the Pontine Islands. After about an hour’s sailing, we’ll reach Ponza, where we’ll admire some of its most iconic attractions, such as Chiaia di Luna,the Arco Naturale, Cala Felce and Lucia Rosa.
Throughout the day, there will be at least five stops for a swim, each lasting around 30–40 minutes, in coves accessible only by sea; these may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. You’ll also have the chance to disembark at Ponza’s harbour to stroll around the island or enjoy a packed lunch or a meal at one of the restaurants in the town centre.
We will then continue on to Palmarola, considered one of the most enchanting islands in the Mediterranean. Here we will visit picturesque spots such as the Cathedral, the Grotta di Mezzogiorno and Spiaggia del Francese, with further stops for swimming and relaxing.
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point at 6. 00 pm. The tour will last a total of 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 3; children under 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users and persons with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day.
The organiser has several boats available for use depending on availability. All boats are dinghies, ranging in length from 6. 5 m to 9 m, equipped with awning, freshwater shower and fridge. You remain barefoot on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
