If you think the Gargano is all sea and beaches, wait until you experience it with four-wheel drive.
Set off from Vieste for a half-day Jeep tour: 70 km through millenary forests, hidden lakes, dirt tracks and spectacular sea views. And just when you think it's over, a typical Apulian aperitif awaits you amidst centuries-old olive trees or trabucchi overlooking the sea, with caciocavallo cheese, bruschetta and a chilled glass.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process in Vieste (FG). After a welcome from the guide, we will board the brand new 8-seater Jeep Defender 110 (9 with expert driver), ready to tackle the heart of the Gargano.
Our tour will begin by driving through the Foresta Umbra, with an initial stop of about 20 minutes at its famous pond. From here we will take a dirt road through the heart of the forest and then descend towards the coast, with off-road sections that will get the adrenaline pumping.
We will descend to Peschici, admiring from above Zaiana, one of the Gargano's most beautiful beaches; from there we will ride along the coastline with spectacular views of the sea.
The tour will end with an aperitif of about half an hour in a masseria, among the thousand-year-old olive trees or near a traditional trebuchet, depending on the season and availability. We will enjoy bruschetta, caciocavallo cheese and typical products accompanied by cool drinks, including non-alcoholic ones (aperitif included).
After the aperitif we will get back into the jeep for the return journey: in total we will cover 70 km of pure adventure in about 4 hours (including briefing, preparation, stops, tour and aperitif.

The activity is suitable for everyone from 3 years old and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Other information
The excursion is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Each off-road vehicle can accommodate up to 8 persons, plus the driver. For small children, parents may bring their own child seat or booster seat on board.
The aperitif is included in the fee; in the event of food intolerances or allergies, please contact the guide in advance at the contact details that will be sent to you in the booking confirmation email.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
