Fancy an experience in nature, far from the hustle and bustle but close to the city? Come and explore the Adda river by kayak!
In 2½ hours you will immerse yourself in the lush greenery of the Parco Adda Nord, an oasis of peace where you can discover the wilder side of Lombardy. You will glide along the calm waters of the Adda, among woods and reeds, following a 6 km itinerary that is easy and suitable for everyone, even those who have never tried kayaking.

What we will do
The meeting point is Villa d'Adda (BG), at the time selected during the booking process. After the guide's welcome, an organisation vehicle will take us to the boarding point, about 10 minutes away. Here, the guide will give us all thenecessary equipment (paddle, life jacket and, on request, waterproof bag) and give us a briefing on how to paddle correctly and safely.
Once on the water, we will wade through the dense reeds and wooded banks of the Adda, where you may spot grey herons, cormorants, wild ducks and, with a bit of luck, maybe even a kingfisher darting low over the water. As well as showing us the most hidden corners of the park, the guides will share curiosities and anecdotes about the river and the fauna that inhabits it.
Halfway along, we will stop at a small beach, where we can relax and, if we wish, take a refreshing dip. We will then calmly paddle back along the river, completing the 6 km route. On the way back, we can enjoy a few more enchanting glimpses of the local flora, made up of poplars, willows and reeds that seem to merge with the sky.
Between preparation, tour and travel, the experience lasts a total of about 2½ hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age and under 100 kg. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, but you must be comfortable with water.
Other information
The activity is bookable from May to September and is confirmed on reaching the minimum number of participants (3 on weekdays, 5 at weekends).
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point is difficult to reach by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
