Full description
Join us for a3-hour kayak excursion along the south coast of Ischia.
You will depart from Maronti beach and paddle peacefully between the bays of Sgarrupata and San Pancrazio or towards the village of Sant'Angelo and the bays of Chiarito and Sorgeto, depending on the weather conditions of the day. You will stop for a swim in one of Ischia's most evocative spots, among the crystal-clear waters of bays that are still unspoilt and can only be reached by sea.
An environmental excursion guide will teach you how to use the kayak safely and accompany you during the excursion. So, what are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
The rendezvous is on Maronti beach in Ischia. We will immediately have a briefing with the guide, who will give us all the information on how to use the paddle, safety regulations and handling the kayak. Before starting the tour, we will also be provided with life jackets and a waterproof bag in which to store all our belongings.
Once we are ready, we will move by kayak in the direction of the Bay of Sgarrupata with its wide inlets, enjoy the nature and marine fauna, with the blue seabed and the island of Capri in the background.
We will not miss a swim stop using the snorkelling kit provided by us on request. We will swim to the rocky beach for a relaxing break with coffee and an Ischian croissant. Around us the sounds of the city will be a distant memory, the background will be the sound of the sea and the colonies of seagulls that inhabit the cliffs in this area.
After swimming, we will make our way back to the starting point. At the end of the excursion, it will be possible to have lunch at the Rèna beach club and enjoy the rest of the day on one of the most beautiful beaches of Ischia, a stone's throw from the village of Sant'Angelo.
We will spend about 3 hours together, of which 2½ hours on board the kayak.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children up to 4 years of age participate free of charge in doubles with their parents.
No kayaking experience is required, but knowing how to swim is necessary.
Other information
The activity takes place from March to December, with the possibility of a morning or afternoon tour.
The guide will provide us with a waterproof bag in which to store our personal items. The equipment includes a waterproof smartphone case, which will allow us to avoid damage to the phone caused by water.
The route may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
There are 6 single kayaks and 1 double kayak available, for a maximum total of 8 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
