See that lighthouse over there, surrounded by crystal-clear water and shallow waters?
That's it, that's the destination of our sailing day: in the company of a federal sailing instructor you will venture from Marina di Pisa to the Secche della Meloria, a splendid natural setting where you can anchor for a swim.
Lunch will also be served on board to toast with the crew to your'sailing baptism'!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 10. 00 am at the meeting point in Marina di Pisa (PI). We’ll be met by the federation-accredited sailing instructor, who will welcome us aboard his boat.
Once all participants have boarded, at around 10. 30 am there will be a 15-minute introduction during which we’ll be shown the basics of sailing. And after our ‘sailing baptism’, we’ll be ready to set sail!
Just like a real crew, we’ll hoist the sails together and begin sailing westwards towards the Secche della Meloria Protected Area, which we’ll reach in about an hour’s sail. When we spot crystal-clear water and shallow seabed, we’ll know we’ve reached our destination: we’ll stop in this stunning natural setting for a swim in the shade of the picturesque lighthouse. Meanwhile, lunch ( included) will be served on board, featuring a cold first course, focaccia, cold cuts and fresh fruit, subject to availability.
During the journey, you’ll be able to enjoy the sail or get actively involved in life on board: as well as learning about sailing points of sail and manoeuvres under the instructor’s guidance, you’ll also have the chance to try your hand at steering the boat!
We’ll finally return to the meeting point at 5. 30 pm. The experience will last a total of 7 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.
The boat is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Theitinerary and duration of the experience are variable depending on weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Depending on availability, theboat will be an 11- to 18-metre-long sailboat equipped with a bow sundeck, awning, outdoor shower, climbing ladder, inside cabin and toilet. Light-soled shoes are allowed on board the boat or you can go barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.

The membership fee included in the price is valid for 1 year and allows you to enjoy this or other experiences of the same organiser without having to pay it again.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
