See that lighthouse over there, surrounded by crystal-clear water and shallow waters?
That's it, that's the destination of our sailing day: in the company of a federal sailing instructor you will venture from Marina di Pisa to the Secche della Meloria, a splendid natural setting where you can anchor for a swim.
Lunch will also be served on board to toast with the crew to your'sailing baptism'!
What we will do
The appointment is at 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Marina di Pisa (PI). We will be greeted by thefederal sailing instructor, who will welcome us on board his boat.
After all participants have been boarded, anintroduction of about 15 minutes will take place around 10:30 a.m. during which we will be introduced to the basics of sailing. And after our'sailing baptism', we will be ready to set sail!
Just like a real crew, we will hoist the sails together and start sailing westwards towards theSecche della Meloria Protected Area , which we will reach in about 1 hour. When we spot crystal-clear water and shallow waters, we will know we have reached our destination: we will stop in this splendid natural setting for a swim in the shade of the scenic lighthouse. In the meantime, lunch (included) will be served on board, including a cold starter, focaccia, cold meats and fresh fruit, subject to availability.
Along the way, it will be possible to enjoy the navigation or actively participate in life on board: in addition to learning gaits and manoeuvres thanks to the instructor's teachings, we will also be able to try helming the boat!
We will finally return to the meeting point at 18:30. The experience will last a total of 8½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.
The boat is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants. Theitinerary and duration of the experience are variable depending on weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Depending on availability, theboat will be an 11- to 18-metre-long sailboat equipped with a bow sundeck, awning, outdoor shower, climbing ladder, inside cabin and toilet. Light-soled shoes are allowed on board the boat or you can go barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.

The membership fee included in the price is valid for 1 year and allows you to enjoy this or other experiences of the same organiser without having to pay it again.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
