Get ready to helm a boat.
Yes, because that is exactly what you will do if you take part in our sailing day: you will venture along the Tuscan coastline in the company of a federal sailing instructor, ready to pass on all his knowledge and passion. You can enjoy sailing or actively participate in life on board, putting into practice the basics you have learnt.
And then, a swim stop and lunch to toast with the crew!
What we will do
The appointment is at 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Marina di Pisa (PI). We will be greeted by thefederal sailing instructor, who will welcome us on board his boat.
After the boarding of all participants at 10:30 a.m., anintroduction of about 15 minutes will take place during which we will be introduced to the basics of sailing. And after our'sailing baptism', we will be ready to set sail!
We will hoist the sails together, like a real crew, and start sailing in the best direction according to the weather conditions. North towards Viareggio, in the direction of the beaches of the Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Regional Park, or west to spot theisland of Gorgona on the horizon.
In the meantime, it will be possible to enjoy the navigation or actively participate in life on board: in addition to learning gaits and manoeuvres thanks to the instructor's teachings, we will also have the opportunity to try helming the boat! Depending on the time available, there will be one or more bathroom stops; this will be followed by lunch on board (included) including a cold starter, focaccia, cold meats and fresh fruit depending on availability.
We will finally return to the meeting point at 18:30. The experience will last a total of 8½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.
The boat is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants. Theitinerary and duration of the experience are variable depending on weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Depending on availability, theboat will be an 11- to 18-metre-long sailboat equipped with a bow sundeck, awning, outdoor shower, climbing ladder, inside cabin and toilet. Light-soled shoes are allowed on board the boat or you can go barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.

The membership fee included in the price is valid for 1 year and allows you to enjoy this or other experiences of the same organiser without having to pay it again.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
