Escape the crowds and enjoy arubber dinghy excursion to Cala Goloritzé, one of the most beautiful bays in Sardinia, characterised by unspoilt nature and crystal-clear water.
You can swim in the wonderful coves of the Baunei coastline, where many marine species find their habitat: don't miss the chance to spot them with mask and snorkel!
Enjoy the sea, spend a relaxing day and take home the enchanting memory of Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala, Cala dei Gabbiani and Piscine di Venere.
What we will do
We will meet at Santa Maria Navarrese(NU) at 8.30 a.m. to check in together with the reception girls. We will then board a maxi dinghy that will allow us to visit places that large boats cannot reach. At 9am we will set off on our tour of the Baunei coast.
We will stop in coves that, according to many, overlook the most beautiful sea in Italy. It is no coincidence that the waters of this stretch of coast are also called the 'Caribbean of Sardinia'. Together with the skipper, we will discover secret bays, historical wrecks and caves that were used by pirates.
While sailing in this natural paradise , we will visit Cala Mariolu, with its pebbles resembling sugared almonds, Cala dei Gabbiani, with its fine, light-coloured sand, Cala Biriala, another jewel that opens up in the Mediterranean maquis, and the Piscine di Venere, with its splendid turquoise water. Finally, we will stop off at Cala Goloritzé, a truly evocative marine protected area with colours that will leave us speechless!
At each stop we can dive from the dinghy to enjoy a refreshing swim. Between Cala Mariolu and Cala Biriala we will have the opportunity to visit the Grotta del Fico (optional and not included).
The duration of the tour is about 8 hours and will end with the return to the port of Santa Maria Navarrese.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0-3 can participate at the reduced price of €16; please contact us to make a reservation. Pregnant women are kindly requested to mention this when booking, so that priority seats can be reserved for them.
The maxi inflatables are not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
An ecological contribution of 1€ per person is required, bring it with you on the day of the excursion: you will help the municipality of Baunei to keep the creeks safe and clean. The crew speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and German.
The excursion takes place with respect for nature, trying to have as little impact on the environment as possible. Please do not print out your booking but submit your confirmation electronically.
We will be on board Maxi Inflatable Boats (Rib) from 6.5 metres in length, with awning present - but usually not used during navigation -, ladder, stereo and all necessary safety equipment. Dogs are not allowed on board.
At the captain's discretion, tours can be cancelled, postponed, shortened, adjusted for various reasons, primarily for safety reasons or new instructions received from the Coast Guard or simply due to the weather and sea forecast.
At Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala and Cala Gabbiani one stops directly on the beach for about 1.5 hours. While at Cala Goloritzè and Piscine di Venere, which are not accessible to boats, one stops offshore at about 50 metres for 20 to 30 minutes (it is still possible to reach the respective beaches by swimming).
Admission to the Grotta del Fico is priced as follows: €10 from 13 years, €5 from 6 to 12 years, free from 0 to 5 years. Tickets can be purchased on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Policy di cancellazione section.
