You know the film"Pirates of the Caribbean of Sardinia?"
You will be the protagonist of this amazing film, filmed on board a maxi dinghy along the coast of Baunei: in the company of a skipper, you will enjoy sailing and diving in the most spectacular natural settings such as Cala Mariolu, Cala Goloritzé, Piscine di Venere and many others.
A day at sea in the area known as the'Caribbean of Sardinia'!
What we will do
We’ll meet up in Santa Maria Navarrese (NU) 30 minutes before the scheduled time to check in with the reception staff. We’ll board a large inflatable boat, which will allow us to visit places that larger boats cannot reach. Once everyone has boarded, we’ll set off on our tour along the Baunei coast.
We’ll stop at coves which, according to many, overlook the most beautiful sea in Italy. It’s no coincidence that the waters along this stretch of coast are also known as the ‘Caribbean of Sardinia’. Together with the skipper, we’ll discover secret coves, historic shipwrecks and caves once used by pirates.
As we sail through this veritable natural paradise, we’ll visit Cala Mariolu, with its pebbles resembling sugared almonds; Cala dei Gabbiani, with its fine, light-coloured sand; Cala Biriala, another gem nestled within the Mediterranean scrub, and the Piscine di Venere, with their stunning turquoise waters. Finally, we’ll stop off at Cala Goloritzé, a truly evocative marine protected area, whose colours will leave us speechless!
At Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala and Cala dei Gabbiani, we’ll stop right on the beach for about an hour and a half, whilst at Cala Goloritzé and the Piscine di Venere – which aren’t accessible by boat – we’ll stop offshore, about 50 metres away , for 20–30 minutes, and you can swim out to the respective beaches.
Between Cala Mariolu and Cala Biriala, we’ll also have the chance to visit the Grotta del Fico ( optional and not included) .
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The tour will last a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits.
Children from 0 to 3 years old are charged €39: contact us to book the fee reserved for them.
Pregnant women are invited to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board and request a priority seat.
The boat is not accessible to people with mobility problems.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed once at least two participants have signed up.
The itinerary and duration of the experience may vary at the organiser’s discretion, depending on the best weather conditions.
The boats used are large RIBs, at least 6. 5 metres in length, equipped with an awning (not usually used whilst sailing) , a boarding ladder and a stereo system. Dogs are not permitted on board.
Admission to the Grotta del Fico is subject to the following rates: €12. 00 per person aged 13 and over; €6. 00 for children aged 6 to 12; free for children aged 0 to 5. Admission tickets can be purchased on site.
An environmental contribution of €3. 00 per person is required, to be paid in cash on site: this will help the municipality of Baunei to keep the coves safe and clean.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
