Motorboat tour to Stromboli and Panarea from Lipari

Panarea or Stromboli? Why choose when you can have both?

Set sail from Lipari for a day trip by motorboat between two of the Aeolian Islands’ most iconic islands. You’ll enjoy the waters off Calajunco, free time to wander the streets of Panarea and Stromboli, and a boat trip at the foot of the spectacular Sciara del Fuoco.

What we will do

We set off at the time indicated from the port of Lipari (ME). On arrival, the staff will welcome us and escort us aboard the comfortable motor vessel.

Once we have set sail, we will sail past Monte Rosa and Canneto Bay towards the island of Panarea, the smallest but no less charming of the seven Aeolian ‘sisters’, which we will reach in about an hour’s sailing. We will then sail past Calajunco, renowned for its turquoise waters, and the promontory of Capo Milazzese, where the remains of an ancient Bronze Age village can still be seen.

We’ll then head to Cala Zimmari, the island’s longest sandy beach, and, after admiring the numerous surrounding islets, such as Dattilo and Lisca Bianca, we’ll arrive at the port of San Pietro to moor. We’ll have about an hour to explore Panarea at our own pace, stroll along its picturesque paths, stop for lunch at a small restaurant or café, and soak up the island’s refined atmosphere.

Around mid-afternoon, we’ll return on board and head towards Stromboli. Once ashore, we’ll have two hours to enjoy a stroll through the town centre to the church of San Vincenzo with its splendid panoramic terrace.

We’ll set off again to admire the Strombolicchio and round off the day beneath the Sciara del Fuoco, a volcanic slope furrowed by spectacular lava flows. We’ll marvel at Stromboli’s spectacular eruptions, which light up the night sky, creating an incredible natural spectacle.

Finally, we’ll return to the starting point at around 10. 00 pm, after an experience lasting approximately 8 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place from April to October.

Please note! The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather conditions and at the skipper’s discretion.

Depending on the number of participants, a motor vessel measuring between 16 and 20 metres in length may be used, with a capacity of up to 130 people. All motor vessels are equipped with comfortable seating, shaded areas, a bar and toilets.

Dogs are generally not permitted on board; any exceptions may be considered by the organisers, who can be contacted using the details provided in the booking confirmation email.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
