Set sail aboard Virginia and experience theLa Maddalena Archipelago in comfort, nature and authenticity!
This itinerary will touch Cala dell'Amore on the island of Spargi, exclusively reserved for the boat's guests, the iconic Piscine Naturali or Porto della Madonna and the historic centre of La Maddalena.
Ample space and every comfort await you on board: from the standard deck, comfortable and shaded, to the VIP and private deck, for those seeking an even more relaxing and private experience. The attentive staff will accompany you throughout the day, between dips, sun and fun. This is no ordinary trip: it's a special way to experience the sea!
What we will do
Embarkation is scheduled at 8:50 a.m. at the pier of Cannigione, where we will be welcomed by the staff of the motor vessel Virginia. At around 9.20am we will board and set sail to begin our mini-cruise in the La Maddalena Archipelago.
On board the motorship Virginia we will find three distinct decks: the standard deck, spacious, shaded and equipped with comfortable seating; the VIP deck, more reserved and panoramic, ideal for those who want peace and quiet and a privileged view - not accessible to children under 12; and finally the privé, an exclusive area designed for small groups or couples seeking intimacy and total relaxation. The deck can be selected at the time of booking.
During navigation we will be able to admire the majestic Bear Rock, a spectacular granite formation overlooking the sea, and the village of Porto Rafael, with its white houses reflected in the water.
The first bathing stop will be in front of the beautiful Cala dell'Amore, a small bay on the island of Spargi nestled in the wilderness. After about an hour of relaxing, swimming and snorkelling, we will resume sailing towards the heart of the archipelago: Porto della Madonna, known as the Piscine Naturali, a true paradise of turquoise waters perfect for a second stop.
We will then sail along the famous Pink Beach, protected as an environmental heritage site: it will be possible to admire and photograph it from the boat. Finally, we will stop in the historic centre of La Maddalena, where we will have an hour of free time to stroll around and breathe in the authentic atmosphere of the island.
After about 7 hours of unspoilt nature, dreamy waters and comfort on board, we will return to the port of Cannigione with our eyes full of beauty and our minds regenerated.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit.
The VIP deck is not accessible to children under the age of 12.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility difficulties or in wheelchairs.

The activity runs from May to September, weather permitting.
The motor vessel Virginia has three decks , each with different features, which can be selected at the time of booking: standard (max. 140 people) , VIP (max. 48 people) and private (max. 4–6 people). During the excursion, you’ll have access to two on-board bars, one on the standard deck and one on the VIP deck, both serving fresh drinks and snacks throughout the trip. A catering service is also available, offering gourmet pizzas prepared on board, with gluten-free and vegan options. There are also toilets, fresh-water showers, free Wi-Fi and a multilingual audio guide app.
Out of respect for the environment and the National Park regulations, direct disembarkation onto the islands is not permitted. During swimming stops, the motorboat moors at authorised buoys situated just a few metres from the shore: this way, you can easily reach the beach with just a few strokes or stay close to the boat.
As part of our environmental policy, we do not sell plastic bottles on board. However, you are welcome to bring your own bottles or water flasks and enjoy unlimited water throughout the day. Alternatively, water flasks bearing our logo are available for purchase at a cost of €7.
You can bring your own packed lunch from home or, alternatively, buy one on board from the extensive menu available to passengers.
On board, you can download a free app and listen to the itinerary in real time in your chosen language (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
