Some people dream of a life on holiday. We dream of a life on the beach, in Sardinia!
And the closest thing is our motorboat tour of the La Maddalena Archipelago: you will set sail to discover the islands of Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and La Maddalena with stops at the most spectacular coves.
A day at (and in) the sea, to continue dreaming!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Palau (SS).The crew will be there to welcome us on board the motor vessel!
Once all passengers have boarded, after about 50 minutes we’ll set sail for the La Maddalena Archipelago: we’ll start by sailing past the sumptuous villas of Porto Rafael until we reach the island of Spargi, where we’ll disembark at Cala Corsara for a stop on the beach lasting around 2 hours. During the cruise, we’ll spot rocks with amusing shapes such as the Witch’s Head, the Bulldog and the Boot of Italy; meanwhile, the crew will be on hand to share anecdotes and interesting facts about the area!
Back on board, we’ll bid farewell to the coves of Spargi Island and head towards Budelli Island, admiring the towering white cliffs of Corsica on the horizon. After taking photos of the Spiaggia Rosa, we’ll disembark at Spiaggia dei Cavalieri and make our way to the Natural Pools of Budelli for a beach stop of around an hour and a half. And yes, this is the only motorboat authorised to land on the wonderful island of Budelli!
But the excursion doesn’t end there: back on board, we’ll sail through the Passo degli Asinelli and pass by Razzoli Island, before stopping for a swim of about 30 minutes off the coast of Santa Maria Island. We’ll then sail along the coast of the Barrettini Islets and dock on the island of La Maddalena for a stopover of about an hour, during which you’ll be free to explore the historic centre at your leisure.
The journey will continue towards Santo Stefano Island, Caprera Island and Roccia dell’Orso before docking in the harbour. We will then return to the meeting point; the whole experience will last approximately 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
The boat is a 22-metre long and 5.50-metre widemotor vessel equipped with outdoor seating, an indoor lounge, bar-restaurant service and two toilets.
Itinerary and duration may vary according to weather conditions at the captain's discretion.
On site payment of the landing fee is required: €2.50 per person in May and September, €5.00 per person in June, July and August; payment can be made by cash and card. Children from 0 to 6 years of age are exempt from paying the landing tax.
Options for people with food allergies and intolerances are available at the bar-restaurant on board: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
Dogs are not allowed.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
