Bue Marino Cave or Cala Luna, that is the dilemma.
By taking part in our motorboat excursion , you won't have to choose: you will visit the Grotta del Bue Marino (Sea Ox Cave ) and spend some free time on the beach at Cala Luna.
A day in the heart of the Gulf of Orosei, our (and soon your) favourite corner of Sardinia!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cala Gonone (NU). Awaiting us will be the crew who will welcome us on board.
After boarding, we will set sail for the Grotta del Bue Marino (Sea Ox Cave ), which we will reach after about 20 minutes of sailing. Once we reach our destination, we will disembark for a guided tour of the Grotta del Bue Marino (ticket not included), lasting 1 hour: we will walk to discover this natural wonder, once the refuge of the monk seal from which it takes its name.
At the end of the visit, we will return on board to continue sailing towards Cala Luna: we will disembark to spend some free time on the beach; on site you can hire parasols, snorkelling equipment and refreshments at the bar-restaurant (available from May to September).
To return to the meeting point, simply arrive at the Cala Luna embarkation point at 12:40, 15:40, 16:40 or 17:40 (departure at 18:40 available from June to September); the boat trip from Cala Luna to Cala Gonone will last 30 minutes. The total duration of the experience varies depending on the length of your stay in Cala Luna.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 may participate unaccompanied.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.

Please note! Between June and September, you may stay on Cala Luna beach for a maximum of 3 hours and must return no later than 18: 40.
The tour runs from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of 60 participants has been reached.
The itinerary and duration may vary depending on weather and sea conditions and the availability of the beaches, at the captain’s discretion. Any changes will not be eligible for a refund.
The vessel is a motorboat equipped with a sun deck, shaded area and toilet facilities. The organiser has several motorboats at its disposal, some of which are fitted with a bar and restaurant.
The entrance ticket to the Grotta del Bue Marino is not included and must be purchased online at enjoydorgali. it or on site at the ticket office near the meeting point. From 1 April to 31 May and from 1 October to 31 October: €10. 50 for adults and €5. 50 for children (aged 5–10) ; from 1 June to 30 September: €12. 50 for adults and €6. 50 for children (aged 5–10) .
The fee does not include the beach access charge: each person must pay the beach access charge on site to access the beach in the municipality of Dorgali, at a cost of €2. 50 per person.
Dogs are not permitted.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
