Join us for a dream excursion to discover Lipari and Salina!
You will admire impressive stacks, swim in the turquoise waters of Cave di Pomice and discover small bays and hidden corners. You will explore the lively Santa Marina Salina and lose yourself in the narrow streets and inviting aromas of the small restaurants of Lingua.
The motorboat is ready to depart... and you?
What we will do
Departure is from the port of Lipari at 9.30am, with a meeting for embarkation 15 minutes beforehand.
Once all participants are seated on board, we will begin the navigation along the coast of Lipari, admiring the castle, Monte Rosa and the bay of Canneto. We will continue to the famous Pumice Quarries, where we will make a 20-minute stop for a dip in the clear waters.
We will then head towards Salina, the second largest island in the archipelago. Here we will make an initial shore stop in Santa Marina Salina of about 1 hour, during which we can stroll through the picturesque alleyways, explore the shops or simply relax on the beach.
Back on board, we will take a scenic tour around Salina, passing by the picturesque bay of Pollara, made famous by the film "Il Postino", before arriving in Lingua by 1pm.
In Lingua we will have about 2½ hours of free time to have lunch in one of the little restaurants by the sea, take a swim in the enchanting coves, or explore the village famous for its lighthouse and salt lake.
In the afternoon we will begin the return trip along the western side of the island of Lipari. We will admire the two impressive stacks, the beautiful Praia Vinci, and several hidden caves and coves.
We will return to Lipari around 17:00, after about 7½ hours of excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from July to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 20 participants.
Depending on the number of participants, a 16- to 20-metre motor vessel with a capacity of up to 130 people can be used. All motor vessels are equipped with comfortable seating, shaded seating, a bar and a toilet.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The venue cannot be reached by public transport.
