Summon your explorer spirit: don mask, snorkel and fins to snorkel right where the Elviscot ship sank.
Climb aboard a comfortable motorboat and get ready to spend half a day among the beauties of the Island of Elba, from Grotta Azzurra in Fetovaia to Pomonte, off the coast where the ship sank in 1972.
The great thing is that it is a wreck on the surface of the water, at a depth of only 12 metres... the perfect stage for an unforgettable excursion!
What we will do
The appointment is at 15: 30 at the meeting point in Marina di Campo (LI), where the crew will be waiting for us. After boarding the comfortable motorboat, at 15: 45 we will set sail and begin our navigation along the southern coast of the Island of Elba in the direction of the Bay of Cavoli.
Our tour will begin with one of the most beautiful views of the island, from which we will continue towards the Bay of Fetovaia, near which we will make our first swimming stop (about 20 minutes) . We will dive into a sapphire-coloured sea, surrounded by a beach of fine white sand.
Back on board, we will resume sailing towards Pomonte. Once there, we can snorkel and spot the wreck of the Elviscot, a merchant ship that sank in 1972. In addition to the wreck, we will also be able to observe shoals of bream, turbot, sea bream, crabs and sole. If we are lucky, we may even come across some dolphins! The stop will last about 20-30 minutes.
But the nice surprises of the tour don't end there. Once back on board, we will head towards the Blue Grotto near which we will make our third bathing stop of about 20 minutes. Around this time the sun, penetrating through the cracks in the rock, makes the water in the cave particularly transparent and creates suggestive plays of light on the walls and seabed.
Finally, we will return to the starting point around 18: 45, after about three hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge.
The motorboat is wheelchair-accessible. We recommend notifying the on-board staff in advance in order to arrange safe embarkation (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).

The activity is held from April to November.

The motor vessel is 22 metres long, 6 metres wide and equipped with every comfort, including a toilet, passenger deck and upper sun deck equipped with seating and bar service.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
