On the one hand the wonder of the Grotta del Bue Marino, on the other the convenience of reaching it by motorboat!
Choose our motorboat transfer from Cala Gonone: after about 30 minutes of sailing you will land at the Grotta del Bue Marino, one of Sardinia's most spectacular natural attractions. By paying the entrance fee, you can walk inside the cave once inhabited by the monk seal.

What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cala Gonone (NU). Awaiting us will be thecrew who will welcome us on board the motorboat!
Once all passengers have finished boarding, we will set sail from Cala Gonone towards the Grotta del Bue Marino (Sea Ox Cave); the navigation will last about 30 minutes each way. Upon reaching our destination, we will proceed to disembark at the Grotta del Bue Marino: this is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Sardinia, so called because it was once inhabited by the monk seal. By purchasing the entrance ticket (online or at the ticket office near the meeting point), it is possible to undertake an 800-metre walk inside the southern branch of the cave lasting 50 minutes.
At the end of the visit we will return on board the motorboat to return to Cala Gonone.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 may participate unaccompanied.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.
Other information
Caution. The temperature inside the Sea Ox Cave is around 16-18 degrees. We recommend wearing appropriate clothing due to the large temperature difference between inside and outside.
The experience takes place from April to November.
Departure and return times may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the captain's discretion.
The boat is a motor vessel equipped with a sun deck, shade area and toilet. The organiser has several motorboats of different sizes, from 40 to 150 passengers, available according to availability.
The fee does not include the environmental contribution to the municipality of Dorgali of €2.00 per person to be paid on site in cash. The environmental contribution is required per person from 0 to 99 years of age.
The fee does not include the entrance ticket to the Grotta del Bue Marino, which must be purchased online at enjoydorgali.it or on site at the ticket office near the meeting point. The following is the price list for the Grotta del Bue Marino entrance ticket: Full price (from 11 to 69 years old) €10 from 01\04 to 31\05, €12 from 1\06 to 30\09, €10 from 01\10 to 2\11; Reduced price (from 5 to 10 years old or 70 years old) €5 from 01\04 to 31\05, €6 from 1\06 to 30\09, €5 from 01\10 to 2\11; Free (from 0 to 4 years old).
Small dogs are allowed in a pet carrier.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
