Full description
Climb into the saddle of an e-mountain bike and pedal along an evocative and little-known route in Noli, Liguria. Your guide will lead you to the Grotta dei Falsari through an extraordinary panoramic path. You will enter this rocky ravine produced by sea erosion and enjoy a breathtaking view.
You will then climb back into the saddle to reach the Caverna Arma delle Mànie, a huge cave from prehistoric times where scholars have proven the presence of Neanderthal Man.
Finally you will head along the route of ancient Roman bridges to the picturesque village of Finalborgo. You will cycle 17 km with an elevation gain of about 400 m.
What we will do
We will meet in Noli, where we will pick up our electric mountain bikes and strap on our helmets before climbing into the saddle. Our excursion will take us to discover a particularly evocative corner of Liguria.
We will cycle along a panoramic path until we reach the Grotta dei Falsari, also known as Grotta dei Briganti. According to popular belief, in fact, the cave was used by brigands to hide their loot.
It is a rocky ravine produced by the continuous work of sea water against stone. Millennial erosion has formed a beautiful cavity, which allows a unique view of the sea. We will discover many details and curiosities before climbing back into the saddle.
We will then pedal to the Caverna Arma delle Mànie, a large cave containing rock layers dating back to the Palaeolithic period. Studies have shown thatNeanderthal Man lived in this cave. Archaeologists, in fact, found an incisor of an adult Neanderthal while sifting through the ground of the cave.
After leaving the prehistoric cave behind, we will ride along theancient Roman bridge road until we reach the characteristic town of Finalborgo, one of the jewel-like villages of the Ligurian Riviera.
The E-MTB ride is 15 km long, with a difference in altitude of around 400 m, and the excursion lasts around 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at participants with a minimum of familiarity with e-bikes, aged 16 and over.

The excursion is scheduled all year round, every day of the week, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants .
An extra pick-up service is also available on request, to be agreed with the organiser after booking confirmation.
