Full description
Get on a mountain bike and ride along the entire route of the old Spoleto-Norcia railway. A certified guide will accompany you along the 38 km flat route.
After the briefing, you will take the shuttle to Santanatolia di Narco, the starting point of the excursion. You will cycle along the bed of the River Nera and cross 5 viaducts and 3 tunnels without artificial lighting, which will make you feel all the magic of the old railway road.

What we will do
We will meet the guide in Arrone (TR), where the guide will be waiting for us and will accompany us throughout the excursion. We will have a short briefing lasting about 30 minutes, during which the guide will explain the route to us.
Once the briefing is over, we will all board the shuttle that will take us to the starting point in Santanatolia di Narco. We will thus begin our wonderful ride, accompanied by the flowing waters of the River Nera, whose bed skirts the flat stretch we will ride along.
Our route coincides exactly with the section of the old railway that connected the two Umbrian towns of Spoleto and Norcia. We will thus be able to travel through a peculiar territory with no less than five viaducts and three short tunnels. The latter are not equipped with artificial lighting and will give us the thrill of plunging into anatmosphere suspended in time.
The 38 km route in total will end in Santanatolia di Narco, where we will take the shuttle bus back to the starting point. The excursion lasts about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone over the age of 6. The route is all flat and does not present any particular difficulties.

The excursion is scheduled from March to October.
If you are a cycling enthusiast, you can participate in this experience by bringing your own bike and enjoying a reduced rate that excludes bike rental.
After receiving your booking confirmation, we recommend that you inform the guide of your height and age so that he can prepare the most suitable mountain bikes for each participant.
