We have a proposal: how about lunch or dinner on Lake Como? Read that correctly, on the lake, not at the lake.
If you are wondering how this is possible, know that Paolo and Omar - skipper and chef on board respectively - are already waiting for you in Varenna to welcome you on board the catamaran Maru.
It won't be a simple boat trip, but an exclusive 4-hour experience to discover the most evocative corners of the Lario, enriched by a gourmet menu prepared directly on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Varenna (LC) . Awaiting you will be the skipper who will welcome you on the sailing catamaran Maru, a unique wooden boat, ready to help you discover the most authentic side of the Lario.
You will begin your navigation by customising your itinerary together with the skipper: you will be able to choose whether to let yourself be lulled by the wind and sail towards Bellagio or admire the historic villas that line the shores of the lake. During the warm season, you can moor near a quiet beach to take a regenerating dip away from the currents.
While you relax in the sun, the on-board chef will get to work in the boat's kitchen. You will enjoy an exceptional lunch or dinner comprising a starter, a first course and a fruit salad or a final dessert , all accompanied by an excellent glass of wine and water.
The atmosphere on board will be convivial and relaxed, just like a day spent among old comrades. After eating, you will set off on your return journey, enjoying the silence of the lake interrupted only by the rustling of the waves against the wood of the boat.
The experience will end with the return to the starting point. The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is intended for private groups wishing to hire the catamaran exclusively.
The activity is recommended from 8 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but can accommodate passengers with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from May until October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a wooden sailing catamaran, 9 m long and equipped with a kitchen, toilet and central table. On board, one stays without shoes.
In the event of allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to arrange a special menu.
Dogs are welcome on board, subject to prior notification.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
