Full description
Syracuse awaits you for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure: a private dinghy tour that will take you to discover the hidden wonders of its coastline.
In half a day you will explore secret coves, stacks and sea caves whispering ancient legends. For the more adventurous spirits, snorkelling masks and SUPs are also on board to conquer the most inaccessible coves.
And to end on a high note, what could be better than a Sicilian aperitif?
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the time selected during the booking process in Syracuse, where the captain will be waiting to welcome you. Once you and your group have settled aboard the comfortable dinghy, we will be ready to set sail.
The first stop on the tour will be La Marchesa, one of the most beautiful and famous coves in the area. Here we will have a swim stop of about half an hour, where we can sunbathe and relax, or use the SUP to venture out into the surroundings. As this is a private tour, the stops and their duration can be arranged with the captain according to the needs of the group.
We will then arrive at Cape Murro di Porco, the most extreme point in western Sicily, where the striking lighthouse dominates the surrounding landscape. We will be close to thePlemmirio Marine Protected Area, one of the most important and richest in biodiversity in the Mediterranean. Thanks to special authorisation, we will be able to moor in this area and snorkel among colourful fish, corals and anemones.
Back on the boat, we will reach the Arenella Beach and then the Grotta di Ognina, where we will be able to take another half-hour swim. To end our tour on a high note, we will enjoy an aperitif of typical products such as cheese and other specialities, accompanied by wine, water and soft drinks.
At the end of the aperitif we will begin the return trip to Syracuse, after about four hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Infants up to 1 year old participate free of charge.
Due to the dock, the boat is not accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October, and is aimed at private groups of up to 10 participants.
The boat used is an 8-metre, 250-hp dinghy with a canopy, a fridge where all drinks are kept, a Bluetooth speaker, and a freshwater shower.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed .
