The Gargano has never been so... adventurous!
Get in the saddle and get ready to step on the accelerator on our quad bike excursion to Vieste: you will venture through the characteristic vegetation of the Gargano National Park, until you reach a vantage point with a view of Vieste and the Tremiti Islands.
A 2-hour experience, enhanced by a typical Apulian aperitif!
What we will do
The meeting point is 10 minutes before the selected time in Vieste (FG). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our quad bike excursion in the Gargano National Park! After a short stretch on asphalt, we will venture onto a dirt track through the characteristic vegetation. After about 1 hour of driving, we will arrive at the highest point of the town of Vieste located about 500 metres above sea level: from up here we will enjoy a unique panoramic view of the town of Vieste and, on a particularly clear day, we will also be able to spot the Tremiti Islands!
At the end of this short photo stop, we will get back on the saddle to resume the journey. After covering about 40 km, we will finally return to the meeting point where we will find an aperitif of typical Apulian products waiting for us: focaccia, bruschetta, caciocavallo cheese and other local delicacies accompanied by drinks to toast the memory of this adventure!
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a valid B licence; equivalent foreign licences are accepted. The passenger must be at least 5 years old.
A maximum weight of 150 kg per quad bike (sum of driver and passenger weight) is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first quad bike excursion.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October.
Driver and passenger may not swap driving during the excursion.
Any personal belongings may be stowed in the trunk of one's quad bike.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. You can request a free transfer from the centre of Vieste by contacting the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail.
