We welcome you to Santa Domenica Vittoria, the City of Truffles!
Right here, you can take part in a completely new truffle hunt, during which you will reach the truffle ground on board a quad bike, taking the opportunity to speed through the off-road trails of the Nebrodi Mountains.
An experience lasting a total of 4 hours, perfect for those seeking both taste and adventure !
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 15: 00 at the meeting point in Santa Domenica Vittoria (ME) . We will be welcomed by the local guide, ready to show us how the quads work and provide us with all the information we need to tackle the route safely.
Ready, set, go! Right from the start, we will set off on the off-road trails of the Nebrodi Park, following the Passo dell'Olmo path that will take us straight to the truffle hunting area.
Here, the truffle hunter will be waiting for us with his inseparable lagotto, ready to lead us on a 'treasure hunt' through the area's lush hazelnut groves . Thanks to the perfect microclimate, the truffle grows here all year round and can be found in all its variations (hooked, scorzone. .. ) depending on the season. A characteristic that has earned Santa Domenica Vittoria the title 'city of truffles'!
At the end of the search (which will take place on foot) , we can choose whether to return to the meeting point or to add a tasting of typical products at a local farm where we will sample truffle specialities, cold meats, cheeses and dried fruit creams (with the quad bike tour + truffle hunt + tasting option) .
The activity will last a total of 3 and a half to 4 hours, including 1 hour of quad driving.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.
The experience is of an easy level and also suitable for a first time quad rider.

The excursion is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.

The truffle harvest can be purchased on site at a price to be agreed with the organiser.
During the tour, driver and passenger can swap driving, as long as both meet the requirements.
The organiser has 4 CF Moto 450 quads capable of carrying up to 2 persons, for a maximum of 8 participants.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
