Get ready for adventure aboard a quad bike in Abruzzo!
Explore the wilderness of the Laga Mountains, in the province of Teramo, and feel the adrenaline flowing as you drive over mountain trails to the Bosco dei Faggi Torti and Lago dell'Orso.
The guided tour will last an hour and a half, but the good memories - we assure you - much longer.
What we will do
We will meet at the time chosen at the time of booking in Ceppo, a hamlet of Rocca Santa Maria.
Here I will personally guide you on a small test ride to familiarise you with your quad bike: we will learn together how to manage the brakes and accelerator and then drive our vehicle safely.
Then our real journey will begin, which will take us from 1,300 metres up to 2,000 metres above sea level in the beautiful Laga Mountains. The approximately 10 km route will be almost entirely on gravel, with a small amount of asphalt.
We will pass through the Bosco dei Faggi Torti (Wood of Twisted Beeches), which will give us fairytale scenery with its twisted trunks and the light filtering through the foliage. Finally we will reach Lago dell'Orso, an ancient glacial lake that is now dry, where we will stop for a break with drinks on offer (water and wine).
Once we have rested, we can swap driving the quad bike with our companions and embark on the return descent, which will take us back to our starting point.
The total duration of the tour is 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a B licence.
The minimum age for passengers is 6 years.
Other information
The activity is available from March to December, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 booked quads.
The price is per quad. The organiser has 7 quads available for a maximum of 14 participants; each quad bike can carry a maximum of 2 people including driver and passenger.
During the tour it is possible to swap drivers if the driver and passenger are both 18 years of age and have a B licence. If you wish to swap driving, you must notify this before the tour starts.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
