This experience is 95% adrenaline.
Yes, because this is the percentage of dirt road on which you will speed during our quad bike excursion: in the company of a guide, you will venture among olive trees until you reach the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Squillace.
Anexperience of over 1 hour, ending with a thrilling descent at full speed!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Simeri Mare, a hamlet in the municipality of Simeri Crichi (CZ). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this four-wheeled adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered and handed over their individual equipment, the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
It is then that our adrenaline-filled quad bike excursion will begin: we will speed along an almost entirely unpaved route, partly through characteristic olive groves, facing a challenging climb to reach the top of a hill dotted with wind turbines. We will thus reach a height of 200 metres above sea level, giving us a unique panoramic view of the Gulf of Squillace, from Soverato to Le Castella! During this brief stop, we will toast to a light aperitif that includes a non-alcoholic drink accompanied by assorted classic snacks.
Back in the saddle, we will enjoy pressing the accelerator downhill. After riding a total of around 17 km, we will finally return to the meeting point; the experience will last a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a valid B licence; equivalent foreign licences are accepted.
The passenger must be at least 2 years old. If the child is particularly young, he/she will sit in front of the parent or responsible adult; even if the child is particularly young, a maximum of 1 driver and 1 passenger will board the quad bike.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first quad bike excursion.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 booked quads.
The timetable and itinerary may vary depending on organisational, route and weather conditions at the guide's discretion. The excursion may also take place in the event of light rain at the guide's discretion.
During the excursion, driver and passenger may swap driving if both have a valid B licence.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
