Where to admire the stars in southern Sardinia?
On top of Monte San Mauro Gesico, at an altitude of 600 metres. It is here that we will arrive during our quad bike excursion and enjoy the unique panoramic view of as many as 58 illuminated villages in South Sardinia.
A2-hour experience, ending with a night-time visit to the village's Museum of Sacred Art!
What we will do
The appointment is at 20:30 at the meeting point in Guasila (SU). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure on four wheels!
Once all the participants have gathered, an introduction will take place during which the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready to climb into the saddle, start the engine, and begin our quad bike excursion under the stars: we will set off at 9 p.m. and venture into the countryside of Guasila, in theSardinian hinterland. During the flowering period, generally from the beginning of June to mid-July, we will make a short stop with a guided tour through a scenic lavender field.
We will then drive up to the summit of Monte San Mauro Gesico, at an altitude of 600 metres: from this historic astronomical observation point we will admire the moon, the stars and no less than 58 illuminated towns in southern Sardinia! Back on board and on the way back, we will stop at the Museo Scrinia Sacra in Guasila: a dedicated guide will open the museum doors just for us and tell us about the history of sacred art preserved here.
We will then return to the meeting point. The quad bike excursion will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a B licence; foreign licences are permitted. The passenger must be at least 4 years old.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 booked quads.
The price is per quad; each quad can carry 1 driver or 1 driver and 1 passenger (2 persons). During the excursion driver and passenger can swap driving if both have a B licence.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
