Full description
As the daylight fades, the stars light up. And with them, so does your quad bike!
Set off on atwo-and-a-half-hour adventure in the Salento countryside , through dirt roads, dark landscapes and silences broken only by the roar of the engine.
The grand finale? A sea-view stop under a starry sky. Gallipoli doesn't sleep, it runs!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 20:00 at the meeting point in Gallipoli (LE). Awaiting us will be the guide, ready to take us on an unusual night-time experience.
Before climbing into the saddle, there will be a short briefing on the use of the quad bike, the handing over of the helmet, and then we will be ready to go!
We will cross the Salento countryside shrouded in darkness, among centuries-old olive trees and trulli hidden in the dark, following dirt roads and stretches of asphalt. It will be a mix of adrenalin and quiet, broken only by the roar of our engine!
On the way, we will make 2 panoramic stops, one at sunset and one with a view of the sea, at the moment when the sky will be filled with stars.
After contemplating the panorama, we will resume the route to return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 16 years old and hold an A1 or B licence. The passenger must be at least 8 years old.
The excursion is of an easy-medium level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The excursion is available from April to October.
The price is per quad; each quad can carry 1 driver or 1 driver and 1 passenger (2 persons). The organiser has 7 two-seater quads available for a total of 14 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
