Full description
Hop aboard a quad bike and get ready for a 3-hour tour through the beautiful vineyards and forests of Calatafimi, in the province of Trapani.
The completely off-road route will take you through breathtaking scenery to a vantage point from which you can see the western coast of Sicily at your feet, all the way to Mazara del Vallo and the Temple of Segesta.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Calatafimi (TP) . Upon arrival, the guide will hand over the quad bike and we will have a full briefing and a brief test drive to get familiar with the vehicle.
We will then set off on our itinerary, which will take us through the beautiful vineyards and forests of Calatafimi. Between dirt roads and spectacular views, we will ascend to a vantage point 400 metres above sea level, from which we will admire the entire west coast of Sicily. At our feet we will see Mazara del Vallo and the Temple of Segesta, set against the natural backdrop of the oldest baths in western Sicily.
On the way we will also stop in front of the Pianto Romano Shrine, Garibaldi's monument commemorating the famous battle of Calatafimi, and stop in a forest to refresh ourselves with prosecco and chips.
If we choose to take the afternoon tour, we will have the chance to enjoy a spectacular sunset and see the island of Mozia in the distance.
The quad bike tour will be about 35 km long and will end with the return to Calatafimi. The excursion will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must have a valid B licence.
The quad bike passenger must be at least 10 years old and at least 150 cm tall; buggy passengers must be at least 5 years old.
Passengers under the age of 18 must travel with a parent.

The experience takes place all year round.
The price is per quad or buggy; the organiser has 4 two-seater quads and 1 four-seater buggy: you can select the vehicle with which you wish to carry out the experience when booking.
Please note! Driver and passenger cannot swap driving during the excursion.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
