Full description
Are you ready for a unique and adventurous experience in the middle of nature? Then hop aboard a quad bike and get ready for an exciting tour through the beautiful vineyards and forests of Calatafimi, in the province of Trapani.
The route, completely on dirt road, will take you through breathtaking scenery to a vantage point from which you can admire the western coast of Sicily at your feet, as far as Mazara del Vallo and the Temple of Segesta.
If you love adventure and adrenaline, there is no better way to experience the natural beauty of Sicily!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time in Calatafimi, at the location indicated in the booking confirmation. Here I will hand over the quad bike and we will have a full briefing and a short test drive to make sure the participants are completely comfortable during the tour.
We will then set off on our itinerary that will take us, riding the quads, through the beautiful vineyards and forests of Calatafimi.
Between dirt roads and spectacular views, we will ascend to a vantage point 400 metres above sea level, from which we will admire the entire west coast of Sicily. At our feet we will see Mazara del Vallo and the Temple of Segesta, set against the natural backdrop of the oldest baths in western Sicily.
On the way we will also stop in front of the Pianto Romano Shrine, Garibaldi's monument commemorating the famous battle of Calatafimi, and we will stop in a forest to refresh ourselves with prosecco and chips.
For participants in the afternoon tour, there will be a chance to enjoy a spectacular sunset and see the island of Mozia in the distance.
Our quad bike tour will be about 35 km long and at the end we will return to Calatafimi.
The total duration of the activity is 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
To drive a quad bike, you must be over 18 years of age and have a valid B licence, which must be shown at the start of the tour.
For passengers , the age limit is 14 years, with a minimum height of 150 centimetres. Minors must travel as passengers on their parent's quad bike.
Other information
Attention! Driver and passenger cannot swap driving during the tour.
