All in the beautiful setting of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise Natural Park, inside a karst complex. A 2 km underground route that unfolds in a scenic labyrinth of tunnels and shafts.
A 4-hour experience that will enchant you!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Pescasseroli (AQ), where our caving guide will be waiting for us!
When all the participants have joined us, we will get back into our cars and head for the starting point of the experience, which is only 8 km away. Once parked, our adventure will begin: we will embark on an approximately 4-km walk to thecave entrance.
We will find ourselves in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise Natural Park in a scenic karst area dotted with caves. This is where the Bear Cave and the Polyphemus Cave are located: a complex of horizontal galleries and vertical shafts, with different levels of difficulty. We will venture into the first cave, taking a 2 km long underground loop route.
Once out of the last tunnel, we will follow a footpath of about 2 km that will take us back to the parking area. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
To participate in this activity, you must not suffer from claustrophobia.
Other information
The experience is available from March to December, subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
It is necessary to travel to the meeting place with your own car as it will be used to reach the starting point of the activity.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
