He is red and always smiling. What is it?
Our semi-submarine, on board of which you will explore theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area! Climb aboard this special vessel and sail off to discover the wonders of the underwater world.
A 1-hour experience at the bottom of the sea!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in the village of Notteri, in the municipality of Villasimius (CA) .
You’ll find our boat easy to spot: it’s the only semi-submarine, red in colour and always smiling! It’s equipped with comfortable seats both outside and inside (positioned about 1. 5 metres below sea level) , so you can enjoy the view from your preferred vantage point.
Once all passengers have boarded, we’ll set sail for the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area. Those sitting outside will be able to admire Cala Santo Stefano, Capo Carbonara, Cala Caterina and Campulongu Beach; those sitting inside will be able to admire the seabed, adorned with Posidonia and granite and teeming with friendly fish. It will feel like watching a live documentary on the marine world!
During the trip, there will also be a swimming stop of around 20 minutes. This will be a chance to take some underwater photos from inside the semi-submarine!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.

Duration and itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the captain's discretion.
The boat is a 10-metresemi-submarine , equipped with outdoor seating with awning and cushions and indoor seating.
Small dogs are allowed: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Free transfer to/from the centre of Villasimius is also available: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request this service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
