"Lunapop's '50 Special', but in the Tuscan version.
This is what awaits you by taking part in our Vespa tour in the province of Siena: you will drive between Monticchiello, Pienza and Bagno Vignoni, discovering medieval villages and UNESCO World Heritage cities.
A 6-hour experience, "with wings under your feet" and the panorama of the Val d'Orcia before your eyes!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 09:30 at the meeting point in Chianciano Terme (SI). We will be welcomed by theaccompanying person who will lead us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, a briefing will take place during which we will be given and explained the operation of the two-wheeler. This will be followed by a test ride to ensure a carefree experience.
And here we are ready to start our Vespa tour! Our first stop will be Monticchiello, a small medieval village with a panoramic view over the Val d'Orcia, where we will make a short stop. We will continue on to Pienza, where we will have 45 minutes of free time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage town. The last stop will be Bagno Vignoni, a characteristic thermal village where we will make a short stop; in the summertime it is recommended to bring a swimming costume to take a dip in the ancient Roman thermal baths! During the stops it will be possible to have lunch/buy food at your leisure.
After covering approximately 60 km on asphalt, we will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a valid B licence; equivalent foreign licences are accepted. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.
Driving experience on two-wheeled vehicles is required for participation.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 Vespas booked is reached.
The itinerary may vary depending on the participants' riding ability.
During the experience you will ride a Vespa 125 LX or Primavera automatic. The Vespa has an underseat and top box for storing any personal items.
Free and/or paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
