Would you have guessed it? RICCHI is not a name that goes back to abundance, but to the word RICHICHI, meaning the barren, arid fields that characterised this land.
Fortunately, this did not hinder the foresight of Enrico Stefanoni, great-great-grandfather of the current owner, who planted the first vineyard on this gentle hill in the Alto Mantovano, obtaining the excellent wines that you will be able to taste during this tour of the Cantina I Ricchi!
A 1. 5-hour experience that you can conclude at your choice with a classic or barrel tasting of 4 glasses of wine accompanied by local products.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the I Ricchi winery in Monzambano (MN), in the heart of the Mantuan moraine hills. We will be welcomed by a guide who will take us on a discovery of the history and spaces of the estate.
The tour will begin with a walk through the vineyard , where we will learn about the characteristics of this territory, which presents unique and special aspects, thanks to its proximity to Lake Garda and the geological events that gave rise to it.
We will then continue to the winery, where we will learn about the production method of the I Ricchi winery, and where classic Garda wines such as Lugana and Metodo Classico sparkling wines are produced. At the end of the visit, it will be time for wine tasting. When booking we will be able to choose between:
- Tasting of 4 classic wines, which includes the tasting of 4 wines in the tasting room selected by the sommelier according to the season, paired with local cured meats and cheeses
- Tasting of 4 wines in a barrique cellar, which includes tasting in a barrique cellar of 4 wines from the Nobile line, including 1 glass of a historic vintage, pre-selected by the sommelier and accompanied by a board of typical products.
The experience will last approximately 1. 5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over. The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age. Underage participants will be served the wine board with a soft drink.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with at least 2 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
