In Arona, in the Lagoni di Mercurago Park, Diego, Timoty, Pinto, Cocoon and Levi will be waiting for you for a 2-hour experience through nature and woodland paths. You will walk with them along an easy 6-km route, getting to know them step by step.
And after a while, they will seem like the most natural company you could have.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Arona, at the entrance to the Lagoni di Mercurago Park. Here we will meet the guide and our adventure companions: the llamas Pinto, Cocoon and Levi and the alpacas Diego and Timoty.
After a brief introduction, we will listen to an initial briefing to learn how to get in tune with them, as naturally as possible.
Once we are ready, we will set off on an approximately 6 km route through the park, immersed in the forest and almost completely flat. Along the way, we will take turns leading the animals, sharing moments of small interactions and a few photo stops.
We will reach Lago Grande, where we will stop for a break. This will be the perfect time to have a snack, take photos and relax in the tranquillity of the park, while the guide tells us interesting facts about the natural environment around us.
After the break, we will continue on our way back to our starting point. Between the briefing, walk and stops, the activity lasts a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 5 years and over. Minors may lead the alpacas independently, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.
The animals are not assigned individually: they are led in pairs, alternating throughout the route.
The route is not accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.
Other information
The activity takes place from November to March and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site, but no toilet facilities.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
