Just what you were looking for: fun for the whole family!
Take part in an alpaca walk in the nature of the Camonica Valley, in the company of a guide , and watch your children have fun at a themed sensory workshop .
The 2-hour experience will end with a tasty snack for young and old. And don't forget to take a family photo with your alpaca!
What we will do
We will meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Losine (BS). We will be welcomed by the guide who, once all the participating families have gathered, will accompany us to his farm , which is just a few minutes' walk away.
Once there, we will find some sweet alpacas to welcome us! Wally, Winny, Sunny, Honey and Cumino: the children will choose their own companion. The guide will introduce us to his animals and give us all the information we need for the walk.
Holding the animal by the longhorn, which can also be held by several children, we will set off around the farm: we will walk on a dirt track, following a peaceful flat path in the natural setting of the Camonica Valley. There will be a stop on the meadow to take a family photo with the alpaca! The walk will last 1 hour.
We will then return to the farm, where a sensory workshop will take place: through the sense of touch, the children will learn about different materials, which they will then glue onto cute cards in the shape of alpacas. The workshop will last 30 minutes and will only take place when the warmer temperatures allow it; alternatively, all the necessary materials will be provided for fun at home!
The activity will end with a snack for all (included) consisting of assorted snacks accompanied by a seasonal drink. The total experience will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 2 years of age. Children are considered as such until the age of 10. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The participation of 1 extra adult is €15.00: contact us to submit a booking request or purchase a voucher for an additional adult participant.
The route is accessible with a pushchair.
Other information
Attention! The sensory workshop generally takes place from March to October, when warmer temperatures permit. When this is not possible, participants are given a kit with everything they need to have fun at home: the kit consists of an A3 card with the silhouette of an alpaca and a small bag with cotton inside.
The experience is available from March to November and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 families is reached.
There is a car park on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
One alpaca will be allocated for the entire group of participants: the children will share the running of the alpaca, encouraging teamwork.
Dogs are not allowed on the experience.
