Diego, Bruno, Maria or Iris: which alpaca is more like you?
You will find out by participating in our alpaca walk: in the company of a guide, you will walk for 1 hour through fields and vineyards. You will venture into the natural setting of Marliano, a few kilometres from the heart of Florence.
And at the end of the experience you will say: it's really true, my alpaca and I are soul mates!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Marliano (FI). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this soft adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered, we will reach the alpaca enclosure: based on our personality, the guide will proceed to assign us theanimal that most resembles us. Diego, Bruno, Maria or Iris: each alpaca is unique, just like us! We will then be given all the information we need to carry out the experience.
Our alpaca walk can then begin: we will venture into the hills around the facility, taking a path through fields and vineyards. Between ups and downs, we will skirt a forest and spot a small lake often inhabited by friendly geese. Along the way, there will be a break for the animals to graze.
After walking 2 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The alpaca walk will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the premises, but the latter need not participate in the walk if the child is over 7 years old. Children in the parent's baby carrier participate free of charge.
The activity is accessible to persons with non-motor disabilities: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of a person with a disability. The route is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities.
Other information
The experience is available from January to July and from September to December. The activity is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and involvement of participants.
When booking, you will be able to select the options: participants (people holding the alpaca) and accompanying persons (people not holding the alpaca); to make an accompanying person booking, you must make a participant booking.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the walk can stay at the facility where there is a refreshment point.
Dogs are not allowed in the facility.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
