If when you go on a mountain trek with friends you are always last in line, you are not wrong. You are an alpaca.
And indeed, our alpaca walk in the heart of the Dolomites is just the thing for you: venture into a forest in Santo Stefano di Cadore, following the leisurely steps of these cute specimens, to whom it will be impossible not to become attached.
And if, after 1.5 hours of experience, you won't want to leave them, you can also meet the other animals in the guide's park!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santo Stefano di Cadore (BL). To welcome you there will be me, your guide in this enjoyable adventure!
During a short briefing I will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries. I will then hand over your alpaca, one of Holly, Jack or Aladdin; they are particularly docile animals, to whom you will easily become attached.
It will then be time to venture along the designated route, which winds through a forest. On the way, I will tell you anecdotes and curiosities about the alpacas, who will be at our side; I will explain who they are, where they come from and how their wool is used. I will also describe animal tracks and mountain grasses that we will encounter on our steps.
Slowly, at the alpaca pass, we will reach the finish line: this is my park in the beautiful natural setting of the Dolomites! It is here that you can stop at the end of the walk, taking the opportunity to visit the other animals on your own: each enclosure has a sign with a description of them so that you can get to know them.
You can then walk back to the meeting point. The experience with the alpacas will last about 1 .5 hours in total; the visit to the park is optional and varies in length depending on your preference.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible; people with non-motor disabilities may contact us before making a reservation to assess the feasibility of the activity.

Attention! There are 3 alpacas at the park; depending on the number of participants (maximum 6 persons), 1 alpaca per participant or 1 alpaca per couple will be allocated.
The experience is available from April to November subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
Parking is available on site.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Hiking shoes must be worn; if this requirement is not met, the activity may not take place and no reimbursement will be made.
Dogs are not allowed to participate in this activity.
