A day in the mountains and a night under the stars!
Join a 2-day trekking tour in Valmalenco: accompanied by a mountain guide, you’ll immerse yourself in the wonders of the alpine landscape and, once you reach the campsite, you’ll pitch your tent and prepare dinner with your fellow trekkers.
Before breaking camp ( literally) and setting off again, you’ll enjoy breakfast at dawn . We look forward to seeing you!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 3. 00 pm near Chiesa in Valmalenco (SO) , at an altitude of 1, 500 metres. Once everyone has gathered, we’ll have a short briefing to prepare for our trek.
We’ll then set off on a 6 km walk (about 2 hours) that will take us to the campsite. We’ll walk through a particularly picturesque mountain stretch and feast our eyes on the breathtaking views of the Alpine landscape.
Once we reach our destination, we’ll pitch our tents for the night and prepare dinner, using all the equipment we’ve brought with us in our rucksacks.
Once night has fallen, we’ll enjoy the wonderful experience of sleeping under the stars in our tents, savouring the silence of the mountains and the company of our fellow hikers.
Upon waking, we’ll prepare breakfast, take down the tents and pack our rucksacks, before setting off again for the second day of trekking.
The route will once again be 6 km long. We’ll pass through a landscape characterised by many lush green valleys with cows grazing.
After a couple of hours’ walk , we’ll return to the starting point. The activity will finish by 12: 00 or earlier, depending on the participants’ fitness levels.
The two sections to be covered on foot are each approximately 6 km long and are classified as difficulty level T (tourist) , with an elevation gain of 550 metres.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is suitable for everyone from 8 years old and up.
Other information
The activity takes place at weekends from late June to late August. The guide always checks the weather conditions to confirm or adjust the itinerary based on the forecast.
The excursion is confirmed once at least three participants have signed up.
Dogs are not permitted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
