Discover the most evocative corners of Lake Varese on board a kayak and enjoy a 2-hour tour of relaxation and nature.
An expert instructor will teach you how to paddle correctly and accompany you through the reed beds to discover the local flora and fauna.
What we will do
The appointment with the instructor is at the Lido della Schiranna, in Varese. The activity will begin with a lesson on land to learn the correct paddling movements and the basic concepts for navigating safely.
Then we will board the kayaks and start paddling in the direction of Capolago, characterised by reed thickets and lake vegetation. This place is ideal for observing flora and fauna, as it serves as a refuge for various species of migratory birds and as a natural habitat for many other animal species.
From there we will sail along the Zanzi Park until we reach a natural area where we will stop to explore the surroundings on foot. Afterwards, we will resume navigation until we return to the starting point.
In total, the activity will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy and suitable for everyone. It requires no previous experience but only good physical condition. Participation is possible from the age of 10 and up.

The activity takes place from April to October.
The activity takes place mainly on single kayaks.
Changing rooms and a storage room for personal belongings are available at the meeting point, while showers are available at a separate location a short distance away.
Dogs may participate in this activity, provided they are socialised; if you wish to bring your four-legged friend, please inform the guide in advance.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from the centre of Varese; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
