Full description
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a pilot? If the answer is yes, don't miss the chance to become one for a day aboard the advanced Tecnam P2002 Sierra ultralight in Celano, in the province of L'Aquila.
Fly for 30 minutes over the verdant Marsica and fly over ancient castles, with a view as far as the Adriatic Sea.
Without fear and with an experienced instructor, you can test your piloting skills by taking the controls of the ultralight aircraft.

What we will do
The appointment with the flight instructor is at the Celano (AQ ) airfield at the time selected during the booking process.
In an initial briefing, we will discover together the practices for a safe flight, but above all we will approach the Tecnam P2002 Sierra advanced two-seater ultralight.
We will climb aboard together with the instructor and, having switched on the engines, we will hover for about 30 minutes, just long enough to fly over the verdant Marsica and admire the beautiful castles of Celano and Ortucchio from above.
Still looking down, we will see the Roman city of Alba Funcens, another archaeological wonder of Abruzzo. Weather permitting, we could also go a little further and admire the sea or the Apennines, which will seem so close.
Thanks to the dual controls, we will be able to experience the thrill of piloting the ultralight by performing some basic manoeuvres. Finally, we will land on the runway where we left to say goodbye, but above all to receive the well-deserved Baptism of Flight Certificate.
Between briefing, preparation and flight, the activity lasts about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone aged 6 years and over and with a maximum weight of 100 kg. For minors, authorisation from both parents (or legal guardians) is required.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round, every day. Mornings are the best time to fly, due to the absence of turbulence.
This is anindividual experience: on board the two-seater ultralight there will only be you, apart from the pilot.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.
