First ultralight flight in the province of Teramo

Fancy feeling ultralight? Then climb aboard a Tecnam P92 aircraft and experience the thrill of your first flight!

Under the supervision of a professional instructor, you will take off from the runway at Sant'Omero, in the province of Teramo, and fly for 20-25 minutes over the coast between Abruzzo and Marche.

During the experience, you will discover how to fly a real ultralight and test yourself with the dual controls for an extra adrenaline rush.

What we will do

The appointment is at the Sant'Omero (TE) airfield, 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.

Here you will be welcomed by theflight instructor, who will hold a preparatory briefing before take-off. During this brief introduction you will discover the magical secrets of aerodynamics and the operation of an ultralight, with an explanation of the engine and main controls.

After completing the aircraft's external checks, the instructor will seat you in the cabin of theultralight, a Tecnam P92 model with dual controls, and take your seat next to you. You will assist the pilot during the pre-takeoff check-list and start-up to get a full view of all flight instruments.

After the final checks, the ultralight will be ready for take-off from the runway... and you for your baptism of flight! You will fly for 20-25 minutes over the views of the Teramo coastline and the blue sea of the Riviera delle Palme, between Abruzzo and Marche. A unique spectacle that you can't help but immortalise in photos and videos.

On the return leg, if you wish, you can also try to pilot the aircraft with dual controls under the supervision of the instructor, to make this walk in the skies even more unforgettable.

Once you have landed back on the runway, there will be room for all the questions you want during the debriefing phase, as well as for taking a few more photos inside or outside the aircraft. And that's not all, because a few days after the activity you will receive by e-mail a certificate of participation as a memento of your flight baptism.

The experience will last a total of 1 hour, of which 20-25 minutes will actually be flying time.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 16. Persons under the age of 18 must present a release form signed by both parents.

The maximum weight for participation is 120 kg, while height should not exceed 2 m.

Other information

It is possible to fly all year round (June to September from Thursday to Sunday; the rest of the year on Saturdays and Sundays).

Flights take place only under favourable weather conditions. In the event of bad weather and/or adverse conditions of any kind, the flight may be postponed or modified at the pilot's sole discretion.

The aircraft that will accompany you on the experience will be aTecnam P92 two-seater ultralight with dual controls. In the case of groups of several participants (up to a maximum of 3), the briefing will be common, while the flight will be carried out individually in succession.

The airfield has a club house with a relaxation area, snack dispensers and toilets available for any accompanying persons. Dogs on a leash are allowed.

Both on the ground and in the air, it is possible to take photos and video recordings.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport (bus stop 150 m away) and by car, with parking on site.
