If you like wine, you want to drink only the best wine.
Then our tasting of selected wines will satisfy your taste buds: the Arduini Family is ready to serve you 6 glasses of its best labels, through which you can savour Valpolicella.
A 1½-hour experience, enriched with a visit to the vineyard and a tour of the cellar.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at Cantina Luciano Arduini in San Pietro in Cariano (VR). A member of the family will guide us to discover the wines of Valpolicella!
The experience will begin with a visit to the vineyard: we will stop at the top of the vineyard to hear about the details of working in the vineyard, as well as the history of the family and the winery.
We will then continue with a visit to the winery: we will explore the barrel cellar, the bottling and labelling room and the fermentation room; when the weather permits, we will also visit the raisining room. The guide will tell us about the production process in detail. This first part of the experience, which includes a visit to the vineyard and a tour of the cellar, will last approximately 30 minutes.
Finally, we will reach the tasting room: here we will taste 6 glasses of Valpolicella, comparing the wines of the 'traditional line' with the wines of the 'selection line', which includes the best labels. Everything will be accompanied by soppressa veneta, cheeses and dry bakery products such as taralli or grissini; there will also be a taste of homemade extra virgin olive oil!
The wines to be tasted, accurately described by the guide, will be:
- Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore 'Costelonghe'
- Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore "Sacheta"
- IGT Rosso Veronese "Bacan"
- IGT Rosso Veronese 'El Ciano'
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Traditional
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Simison ".
The experience will last a total of 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. Children under 18 participate free of charge, but must register their presence by contacting the winery at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail; any minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Any minors will be served a non-alcoholic drink with accompanying food.
The winery is wheelchair-accessible , but an internal transfer with your own car is required; please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request support.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
