And as the famous song says, how beautiful it is to ride a Vespa through the hills of Bologna!
Take a 25 km route to discover the main attractions of the area: the San Michele in Bosco Complex, the Sabbuino Shrine and the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. All in the company of a tour guide who will take you on a two-wheeled discovery of the surroundings of Bologna.
A 2-hour experience that will have you singing all the way home!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bologna (BO) . The tour leader will welcome us in the company of his 125 cc Vespas, which will accompany us on this motorised adventure through the hills of Bologna!
Departure is scheduled after 30 minutes. We will ascend towards the San Michele in Bosco Complex, Bologna's belvedere, from which there is a breathtaking view of the city. We will then head towards the Sacrario di Sabbuino, 400 metres above sea level, a monument erected in memory of the Nazi-Fascist massacre of the same name.
The last stop of our Vespa excursion in the hills will be the famous Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca on Colle della Guardia. The sanctuary is connected to Bologna by the longest portico in the world: 4 km for 600 arches!
We will return to the starting point after travelling 25 km, for a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Passengers of at least 18 years of age and drivers of at least 21 years of age with a B licence may participate in the experience; for participants from outside the EU, an international driving licence or a sworn translation is required.
The route is of medium level, experience in driving two-wheelers with automatic transmission is required to participate in this experience; if the on-site driving test shows lack of or little experience, the activity may not take place.

Attention! The 125 cc Vespa can carry a driver and a passenger; each passenger booking must be matched by a driver booking.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 Vespas booked.
Five 125 cc Vespas for a maximum of 10 participants between drivers and passengers are available for this activity.
The licence must not be missing, expired, illegible or a photocopy; if one of these requirements is not met, the activity may not take place.
A deposit of €500.00 is required for the hire of the Vespa by credit card in the name of the driver of the vehicle; credit cards in the name of other people, prepaid cards and American Express circuit cards are not accepted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
