Full description
Spend a day on a Vespa to enjoy the sights and scents of the Tuscan countryside and the Chianti hills. Along paved roads, let our guide lead you to discover the medieval villages along the route.
Along the way there will be a stop at a wine cellar to toast with a glass of wine and a light lunch. And then back in the saddle, through a scenic cypress avenue, for a total of 7 ½ hours.
What we will do
We will meet at 09:30 at the meeting point in Badesse (SI), where our guide will be waiting for us.
We will climb into the saddle of our vintage scooter and embark on a route along an asphalt road. We will enter the Tuscan countryside, among fields and vineyards that colour the Chianti hillsides , and discover small medieval villages.
We will stop at a winery, which we will reach along a scenic cypress-lined avenue typical of the area, to toast a glass of wine with a view of the Tuscan landscape. Another stop is planned for a light lunch (included) with a cheese and cold cuts platter.
We will then get back on our Vespa to return to our starting point. The tour lasts a total of 7½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from 13 years of age. It is possible to participate in the experience as a driver or passenger.
The driver must be at least 18 years of age and have a B licence and a credit card; a pre-authorisation will be made on the credit card at the time of hire as a guarantee for any damages, which will be reimbursed if there has been no material damage to the vehicle at the end of the tour. The driver must be able to drive the vehicle; if the guide considers that the customer does not have sufficient driving skills, he/she may cancel the booking without refund or propose an alternative.
Other information
The tour can be booked from April to November and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached. The experience also takes place in the event of rain.
A total of 10 Vespas with 2 seats each are available for a maximum of 20 participants including drivers and passengers. For every passenger booked, a corresponding driver must be booked.
A vegetarian lunch menu is available on request.
A pick-up and drop-off service from/to Florence is available at a cost of €100 per person. Ask the guide at the contact details you received in your booking confirmation email.
