Full description
Spend a day on a Vespa to enjoy the sights and scents of the Tuscan countryside and the Chianti hills. Along paved roads, let our guide lead you to discover the medieval villages along the route.
Along the way there will be a stop in a wine cellar to toast with a glass of wine. And then back in the saddle, through a scenic cypress-lined avenue, to end an unforgettable day!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 09: 30 at the meeting point in Certaldo (FI), where our guide will be waiting for us.
We’ll hop on our vintage scooters and set off along a tarmac road. We’ll head into the Tuscan countryside, amongst the fields and vineyards that colour the Chianti hills, and discover small medieval villages.
We’ll stop at a winery, which we’ll reach via a picturesque avenue of cypress trees typical of the area, to raise a glass of wine whilst enjoying the view of the Tuscan countryside. Another stop is planned for a light lunch ( included) , featuring a platter of cheeses and cured meats or typical Tuscan specialities.
After the stop, we’ll continue our journey on our Vespa to visit some of Chianti’s other gems, depending on how time allows.
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The tour lasts approximately 7 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a Category B driving licence and a credit card; at the time of hire, a pre-authorisation will be placed on the credit card as a guarantee against any damage, which will be refunded if, at the end of the tour, there has been no physical damage to the vehicle. The driver must be capable of driving the vehicle; should the driver consider that the customer does not possess sufficient driving skills, they may cancel the booking without any refund or propose an alternative.
Passengers must be at least 15 years old.
Other information
The tour can be booked from April to November and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached. The tour goes ahead even in the event of rain.
There are 10 two-seater Vespas available, accommodating a maximum of 20 participants. If you select the ‘two-seater Vespa’ option, you will share the vehicle with another passenger, with the option to take turns at the wheel. To have exclusive use of the vehicle, you must book the “Single-seater Vespa” option: a maximum of 10 exclusive drivers can be booked.
Important: before setting off, there will be a short driving test to ensure that the rider is able to handle the vehicle safely. If the rider fails the test, the activity cannot go ahead and no refund will be available.

A pick-up and drop-off service is available from Siena railway station and Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station: please contact the guide using the contact details provided in the confirmation email to request further information.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport ( Badesse railway station) ; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
