Explore the Chianti hills with an extra gear!
Set off from Florence on board an electric Vespa and in the company of a local guide discover evocative landscapes, vineyards, olive groves and ancient farmhouses where you can savourauthentic Tuscan tradition.
Afull-day experience that also includes a picnic with typical products to be enjoyed outdoors in the enchanting village of Badia a Passignano!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Florence. After meeting the guide who will accompany us on the tour, we will be given our electric Vespa and have an introductory briefing on the route ahead. When we are ready, we will leave the city and head into the Chianti hills.
On board the Vespa we will travel along paths immersed in greenery, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. We will be immersed in the typical landscape of the Tuscan countryside and pervaded by a sense of peace and tranquillity that will accompany us throughout the tour.
Along the route over the Chianti hills we will stop at panoramic viewpoints to take some unfailing souvenir photos. We will arrive at Badia a Passignano, an enchanting monastery complex immersed in the greenery of aprotected area of great naturalistic value for the variety of flora and fauna that populate it.
Here we will stop to enjoy a picnic of typical Tuscan products such as pappa al pomodoro (bread and tomato soup) and schiacciata ripiena (the products vary according to the season). A dessert and a good bottle of wine will not be missing.
The picnic break will last about an hour and a half . Afterwards, we will set off on our Vespa to continue our tour of the Chianti region among rows of cypress trees, rolling hills and ancient country cottages.
We will finally return to the meeting point at 17:00. The experience will last a total of 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be over 18 years of age and hold an A1, A or B driving licence. For passengers , the minimum age requirement is 8 years.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to September and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 Vespas booked is reached.
The experience requires a deposit of €900.00 per Vespa by pre-authorisation on a credit card.
The centre has 6 Vespas for a maximum number of 12 participants. The "two-seater Vespa" fee includes 1 Vespa for 2 people and 2 packed lunches; the "single Vespa" fee includes 1 Vespa for 1 person and 1 packed lunch.
Driver and passenger may alternate driving if both are over 18 years of age and hold an A1, A or B driving licence.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
