Forget the usual indoor tasting rooms. On this experience, your table will be set up right on the lawn, nestled amongst the terraced vineyards of the Val di Cembra, offering you a panoramic toast in close contact with nature.
Take part in this vineyard experience in Val di Cembra. A two-hour premium wine tasting held entirely in the open air.
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at Tenuta Gottardi in Cembra (TN). On arrival at the winery, we will be welcomed by the staff and will begin the tour straight away.
We’ll begin with a guided walk of about 30 minutes through the estate’s vineyards. Along the way, we’ll learn first-hand about the characteristics of the soil, the vines’ exposure and the estate’s philosophy of artisanal winemaking.
We’ll walk through the rows of vines until we reach a particularly picturesque and well-tended panoramic spot in the vineyard, where we’ll find an outdoor table specially laid out for us.
The entire experience will take place in this splendid rural setting, where we’ll taste a premium selection of five wines from the winery. Each glass will be expertly paired and accompanied by a platter of locally produced cured meats, selected regional cheeses and artisan honey.
The outdoor experience lasts approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only. For any accompanying minors and non-drinkers, non-alcoholic drinks are available, such as local apple juice, elderflower juice or blueberry juice.
The venue is wheelchair accessible : in such cases, part of the tour through the vineyard is undertaken by car, with stops at scenic viewpoints to allow visitors to enjoy the view and listen to the guide’s explanations.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, except on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. Should weather conditions prevent us from staying outdoors, the tour and tasting will take place inside the winery’s tasting room.
Dogs are allowed on the tour, provided they are kept on a lead.
Special options are available for coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans. To request these, please contact the organiser using the details you will receive by email with your booking confirmation.
Free, unguarded parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
