Have you ever seen anyone unhappy at a picnic in the countryside? Exactly – neither have we!
That’s why you should come and enjoy a picnic amongst the vineyards at Cantina La Frassina and relax whilst admiring the rows of vines. You’ll be able to sample lots of traditional delicacies and sip a delicious glass of wine.
What are you waiting for? You’re guaranteed to leave with a smile!
What we will do
The event takes place at the time selected when booking at Cantina La Frassina in Caorle, in the province of Venice, within the Lison-Pramaggiore wine-growing region and on the edge of the Zignago Valley. We will be welcomed personally by the estate’s owners.
We’ll be given our picnic basket straight away (included) , complete with a blanket to sit on the lawn. Inside, we’ll find a bottle of Miglio Rosato (produced by the winery) , wine glasses, a platter of local cold meats and cheeses, local focaccia, jam, seasonal fruit and water.
We can lay out our blanket and settle wherever we like – next to the rows of vines, on the lawn or on the bales of hay within the estate. In any of these spots, we’ll be able to enjoy the peace of the natural surroundings.
The experience will last approximately 1. 5 hours in total.
By selecting the ‘Picnic + wine tasting’ option (for those aged 18 and over only) when booking, we can continue the experience with a tasting of three wines from the winery and a tour of the estate.
In this case, the activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is accessible to wheelchair users.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to mid-October, Monday to Saturday. The activity is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached .
Please note! When booking, you can select either the ‘Picnic only’ or ‘Picnic + wine tasting’ option, depending on your preference. The second option is reserved for those aged 18 and over only and includes a picnic, wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
