Just come to the Mauro Marengo winery, in the province of Cuneo, and participate in a delicious wine tasting. You can walk among the Nebbiolo vineyards, take part in a visit to the winery, discover the production processes and taste the wines typical of the Piedmont region.
Taste, relaxation and enchanting landscapes: this activity lacks nothing!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the Mauro Marengo winery in Novello (CN), in the setting of the Langhe. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the history of the winery, before taking us on a walk through the Nebbiolo vineyards. From here we will admire the Barolo valley from above, while the planting methods, cultivation techniques and differences in exposure of the vines will be explained to us.
We will then continue with a tour of the wine cellar for about 20 minutes: we will see the production area, the bottling plant and the barrel cellar where the ageing takes place. We will also be explained how the grapes are processed, how the machinery used works, and the differences between various types of barrels.
Afterwards, we will pick up our vehicles and move about 1 km to reach La Risorseria, a private workshop with just two tables. Here we will participate in a guided tasting of 6 wines (Langhe Nas-cëtta, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba Superiore, Langhe Nebbiolo and 2 Baroli) and 2 vermouths. And while we discover the colours, flavours and aromas of Piedmont's vineyards, we will be served small samples of breadsticks, toasted hazelnuts, cheeses and cured meats.
It will be a curious and fun experience that will make us fall in love with this land!
The activity will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. There are no non-alcoholic options.
The experience is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility (except for the vineyard visit) .

The experience takes place from May to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

In the event of bad weather, the experience will still take place, without a walk in the vineyard.
Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash and muzzled.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
