Come and experience the magic of Tavolara and Molara on board a vintage wooden sailing ship!
You will explore during the day some of the most fascinating places in the reserve, from Cala Girgolu to the famous Molara Pools. And between dips in dreamy coves, a hearty aperitif with seafood or other local specialities awaits you. All accompanied by good wine and a 360° sea view!
Getting on board?
What we will do
The appointment is at 9.00 am at the meeting point in Porto San Paolo (SS). Here the skipper will welcome us and take us on board the Dulcelmar, a 16-metre vintage sailing ship of 1968 designed by Carlo Sciarrelli, a famous Italian naval architect.
Once all passengers are on board, we will cast off our moorings ready to set sail. We will sail through the heart of theTavolara and Molara Marine Protected Area, with several stops for swimming and snorkelling (equipment provided on board).
The itinerary will be decided according to sea and wind conditions, but we will touch some of the most spectacular places in the reserve. Thanks to the tender we will be able to comfortably reach the most beautiful beaches, such as Cala Girgolu, Spiaggia delle Vacche and Sassi Piatti.
Towards lunchtime we will enjoy a rich aperitif on board (included) based on local specialities. All accompanied by Vermentino and Prosecco DOCG wine.
After a relaxing stop at the enchanting Molara Pools, in the afternoon we will begin the return journey: we will be lulled by the sea as far as Porto San Paolo, where we will arrive at around 17.00 hours.
The excursion will last about 7 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under the age of 18 need not be accompanied on board by an adult.
The boat is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility and pregnant women.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
The Dulcemar is a 16-metre-long wooden vintage sailing ship, designed in 1968 by Carlo Sciarrelli and made of solid mahogany with a teak deck. On board you will find all the comforts, including a fridge, ice machine, induction hob, microwave oven and TV. You stay barefoot on board. The boat is equipped with a tender, which will allow you to comfortably reach the most beautiful beaches.
Animals are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
