This is the motto of an animal shelter in the province of Rome: in the company of a Zooanthropologist and Ethology Technician, you will learn to get to know and interact directly with donkeys, sheep, cows, goats, horses and other cute specimens rescued from difficult situations.
A 1-hour experience, which you can enrich with a vegetarian aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM) . We will be met by our guide, a zooanthropologist and technician in animal tourism ethology, who will accompany us on this adventure.
The experience takes place inside an animal shelter, inhabited by specimens rescued from distress situations. During the guided tour we will meet donkeys, sheep, cows, goats, horses, skunks, geese, chickens and other loving specimens. Among them, we cannot fail to mention Vida the goose and Embè the sheep!
During the visit, the guide will present and tell the story of each animal. We will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the animals, petting them and feeding them according to their wishes.
If the "with aperitif" option is selected, the experience will be enriched by a vegetarian aperitif consisting of pinsa romana, fritto misto and other delicacies accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. All this in a location that is as rustic as it is cosy, where animal welfare comes first!
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Infants aged 0-2 years participate free of charge: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of an infant.
The experience is suitable for people with disabilities and the facility is wheelchair and pram accessible. The person with a disability pays the reduced rate of €15. 00 (with an aperitif) or participates free of charge (without an aperitif) while the accompanying person of the person with a disability pays the full rate: please contact us to submit a booking request for persons with disabilities.
