Have you ever longed for a return to your origins?
In Guiglia, the TerraQuilia winery is waiting for you to discover the ancestral method, a return to the past where wine is alive, authentic and decidedly unfiltered.
Here, a sensory journey through the vineyard and the production rooms awaits you, culminating in the tasting of 3 glasses of wine accompanied by the best local products from the local artisans!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the TerraQuilia winery in Guiglia (MO) , in the splendid setting of the Modenese high hills. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to introduce us to the world of natural viticulture.
We will begin with a walk of about 15 minutes among the rows of vines surrounding the facility, where we will learn about the land, the vines and organic cultivation; in winter, or in the event of bad weather, we will be able to admire this breathtaking view directly from the panoramic terrace .
We will then continue with a visit to the wine cellar lasting about 50 minutes, exploring the areas dedicated to vinification, bottling and storage to understand the charm of spontaneous refermentation, typical of the ancestral method, obtained without added sugar or yeast.
Finally, we will sit down for a tasting of 3 glasses of ancestral wines: we will taste the Pignoletto (both the bottom and disgorged versions ) and the Lambrusco Grapparossa. To make the experience perfect, the wines will be accompanied by a board with 24-month mountain Parmigiano, salame gentile and artisanal breadsticks.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above. Wine tasting is reserved for adults only.
Minors from 7 to 17 years old pay 50 per cent (including grape juice) , while up to 6 years old participation is free.
The winery is accessible to people with mobility problems and pushchairs, but it is necessary to give prior notice in order to organise the experience in the best possible way.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed for a minimum number of 2 participants.

Dogs are not allowed inside the winery, but are welcome in the tasting room or in the winery's outdoor areas.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
