Full description
Some hills 'have eyes', others are home to one of the Langhe's most prestigious crus. This is the case of the Cannubi hill, where the Cantina Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno is located, a family business that has been experimenting since 1897 without losing its roots.
Here you will enjoy a visit to the historic barrel cellar, a walk through the vineyards and a tasting of 4 glasses dedicated to Nebbiolo (including 2 vintage Barolo) . Artisanal breadsticks and hazelnuts will complete the experience, adding a gourmet touch!
What we will do
The appointment is five minutes before the selected time at the Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno winery in Barolo (CN), more precisely on the Cannubi hill.
We will be welcomed by the winery guide, ready to tell us the story of a family that has been cultivating these lands for five generations.
We will begin with a visit to the historic barrel cellar: a journey through barrels and the scents of ageing, where we will discover the roots of the company, the production philosophy and the character of the Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo vines.
After about 20-25 minutes we will move to the tasting room, where the sommelier will devote himself completely to our table, constructing a tailor-made didactic tasting.
We will taste four glasses: two vintage Barolo and two Nebbiolo, delving into aromas, differences, terroir and curiosities. Everything will be accompanied by artisanal breadsticks and selected hazelnuts, perfect for enhancing the wines without overpowering them.
At the end of the tasting, we will receive the map for the Cannubi Walk Experience, an independent walk through the vineyards, marked by numbered points that tell the history, traditions and characteristics of Cru Cannubi.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The wine-tasting session is reserved for adults only, while accompanying persons under age may attend free of charge.
The facility is accessible to wheelchair users, as well as pushchairs.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
