Have you ever tried er vero vino de li Castelli? If the answer is no, or if you want more, Tenuta Merumalia awaits you in Frascati for a tasting that will make you feel like a real DOC 'pimp', but with an extra touch of elegance!
It will be a one-and-a-half-hour experience in which you will visit the winery and the production rooms, and then get down to serious business: you will taste three glasses of organic wine accompanied by a board of local delicacies.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Tenuta Merumalia in Frascati (RM), in the splendid setting of the Castelli Romani. We will be welcomed by the guide who will introduce us to the philosophy of the estate directly from the terrace, from which we will enjoy a view of the vineyards and the skyline of the Eternal City.
We will begin our journey with a walk through the rows of vines, immersing ourselves in the colours and scents of the Latium countryside. Afterwards, we will continue on to the winery where the guide will explain in detail every stage of organic production, from the processing of the grapes to bottling, sharing with us the winery's commitment to sustainability and respect for the land.
Afterwards, we will sit down for the actual tasting . On sunny days we will enjoy the open air on the terrace, while in winter or in case of rain we will be hosted in the bright tasting room overlooking the vineyards.
We will taste three organic wine labels from the estate, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil and a platter of organic cold cuts and cheeses selected from small local producers.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Accompanying minors can participate at a cost of €10 (free for children up to 4 years old) , while for teetotal adults the fee is €30.
The venue is accessible to people with mobility problems or with a pushchair: contact the organiser to communicate your needs at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round. In the event of bad weather, the activity may take place entirely indoors in the winery and tasting room.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any special requirements.
For those who wish, it will be possible to request on site (with an extra charge) the addition of a grappa and chocolate tasting or to supplement the menu with a premium proposal. The establishment also offers farmhouse services for lunch or overnight stays.
Dogs are allowed throughout the entire experience.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport, being only a 5-minute drive from the Frascati or Tor Vergata train stations.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
